SoMD ADV Riders Present: 55th Parallel, But Whose Counting--A Trans Taiga Adventure

11/29/2014

They always say: start with the end in mind. With that, we begin this ride report with the track that leads to the holy grail (AKA the end of the Trans Taiga)

The Adventure begins 24 August and ends 08 September!

The Trans Taiga:

Quote:
The road's northeastern terminus is almost at the 55th parallel north, making it the northernmost continuous road in Eastern North America. The terminus is also the farthest point from any town (745 kilometres (463 mi) from Radisson) via road in North America.
We begin our journey with some old wingmates:

Blaster11

Lakota

Dorito

And some new wingmates:
KeithMcKenney

Join us as we ride north and visit our Canadian brethren....mostly 'Rally style' hitting lots of interesting places along the way. If you want to know more about our scheming, here's our planning thread
