Next off to the Viking Landing:

Our tour guide. Lives in town of only 93 people.

Lots of carvings:

Building construction:

Outside walls were double walled tundra, 6 feet thick:

Interior ceiling:

Baby Seal Clubbing anyone?

Who needs a Schuberth ADV helmet? I’ve got style!

No, this is not a moose part..

Notice the ribs on the boat? It is the root of a tree trunk where is comes up from the ground to provide rigidity.

It was interesting and learned about the genesis of the word “Berserk”. It seems before battle, the Vikings would get drunk don their bear shirts and then go whack some heads off. As they were quite the adversary, I guess it worked for them.
Lots of people have little garden patches adjacent to the roads:

Same with their wood piles for home heating. They cut, stack and store on the out skirts of town and then use the snow mobile and sled to bring it in as needed.

This lighthouse at the end of St Anthony’s is actually quite small, but since it sits on top of a bluff, no need for more height

And who doesn’t love a totem pole?

And remember boys and girls when everyone told you to watch the moose? The weren’t talking about the moose tracks on the board walks:

Can you find Waldo the Moose?

Some serious damage:
